This simple and inexpensive craft uses coffee filters, some water colors (or food coloring) and your imagination. Plus a little bit of paint, a clothes pin, glue, wiggles eyes and other simple craft supplies.

Paper Bag Bat

Paper bags make the perfect supply to make a Halloween bat. You can leave the bag brown for a brown bat or use your favorite color paint to make a colorful bat or even buy a black bag.

Pipe Cleaner Bat

These bat crafts require just a handful of pipe cleaners, some wiggle eyes and hot glue. These are fairly easy but the little ones may need some help with the twisting and bending to get the right bat shape. Of course all kids crafts don't need to be perfect. Find some dark colored spoons for this fun kids craft idea. Add a pom pom for the head with some wiggle eyes and ears, cut out some colorful wings and hang these around the house for your Halloween party.
