How
to make Cardboard Roll Confetti Poppers
 |
Cardboard
Roll Popper #1
Wrap the cardboard roll with construction paper leaving paper hanging
from both ends (enough the twist on both ends).
|
 |
Twist one end of the construction paper to
close the end. Fill the popper with confetti.
You can make your own confetti using a hole punch or tear paper into
small pieces. You can also buy confetti in fun shapes to fit
your special celebration.
|
 |
Now
twist off the other end of the construction paper. If needed,
apply some tape in the middle of the cardboard roll to hold the paper
in place.
At the time of your celebration (like at midnight on New Year's Eve),
simply hold each twisted end and pull. This will pull off the
end and release the confetti.
|
 |
Cardboard
Confetti Popper #2
Cover the cardboard roll and cut off the excess on each end.
|
 |
Cut
two circles out of construction paper slightly larger than the opening
of the roll. Glue one end on the roll.
|
 |
Fill
the popper with confetti. Taking the other paper circle, poke
a small hole in the middle.
|
 |
Thread
some string or ribbon through the hole. Tape the string to
one end of the circle, then the opposite end. Repeat for the
other two ends of the circle.
Tip: By placing the ribbon all around the circle, this will
allow the paper to be pulled off easily when it's time to release the
confetti.
|
 |
Now
tape this circle to the open end of the cardboard roll leaving enough
string or ribbon to grab and pull to release your confetti.
|
That's all there is to these confetti poppers kids crafts.
Simply wait until it's time to release your confetti to ring
in the New Year or your special occassion.
