Egg Decoration Idea #1
Sticker Mania

Kids love stickers.  They like to stick them on paper, on their bodies and any where you will let them.  So let them go wild with Easter stickers to brighten up your eggs.  Buy colorful stickers with many different Easter designs.
You can even use lots of flowers to help brighten up your special Easter eggs.  This is a very easy and clean egg decorating idea.  There is nothing to mix or dunk and clean up is easy.

Coloring Eggs Idea #2
Crayons

Crayons make a great and inexpensive way to decorate eggs.  Just boil eggs in water and 1 ½ tablespoons of vinegar for every cup of water.  Have an adult remove the egg from the hot water and cool for about 10 minutes.

Then let the kids draw on their own special design using their favorite crayon colors.  They can hold the egg in their hand with a paper towel in case it is still a bit warm.
Leave the other eggs in the water to stay warm until you are ready for the next egg to decorate.

Egg Decoration Idea #3
Oil and Water

Add some oil to your decorating fun.  Mix your egg coloring kit per the instructions.  Then add some oil and stir into the egg dye mixture.  Immediately dip your egg for an interesting effect.  Since oil and water don’t mix, the results will look great.  You can dip into another color if desired for even a more interesting result.

Coloring Eggs Idea #4
Tie Dyed

Then wrap your egg in the wet paper towel.  Let it set for awhile (5 minutes or so) and remove the paper towel.  The results are “groovy” and you will have some really funky and beautiful Easter eggs.

Egg Decorating Idea #5
Stencils

Create unique and fun designs to your egg coloring fun with stencils or stickers.  You can use stick on stencils to write special messages or fun stickers to add some fun to your eggs.  Just mix your egg coloring kit as instructed.  Then stick on your stencils or stickers making sure the edges are completely stuck to the egg.  Then dip and color your egg.  Let the egg dry completely and then remove the stickers.  You can then dip into another color if desired.

Of course you can also use traditional methods to decorate your eggs.  Buy an egg decorating kit.  These kits usually come with several colors, a dipper, stickers and a clear wax crayon so you can write your special Easter message.  In addition to these fun egg decorating ideas, try making some fun Easter egg crafts to help decorate your house.
