How to Make Handprint Lilies
 |
Place
your hand on the colored paper and trace it using a pencil.

Cut
out the handprint.
|
 |
Using a green straw or a straw covered with
green paper, tape or glue the bottom of the hand to the straw wrapping
the edges of the palm in towards each other.
|

Using a pencil or straw, wrap each finger
tip (and thumb) around the pencil to create a curl. Curl
these backwards.
|
 |
Repeat this for different colors to create
a bouquet of lilies.
|
Place your lilies in a vase and show them off. You can cut
the straws different lengths for your bouquet. Give these to
mom for Mother's Day or decorate your house for spring.

Flower Vase
This one is a great craft idea for those kids who love hand painting.
This handprint craft looks great when it's all done and make
a lovely bouquet of flowers.
Supplies
Large Piece of Cardstock
Brown Paper
Green Paper or Leaf Stickers
Green Paint
Paint in Color of your Choice
Buttons, Stickers, Beads or Markers
Paint Brush
Scissors
How to Make a Flower Vase
 |
Paint
your fingers (not the thumb) green. Paint your palm and thumb
the color of your vase.

Press
your hand on the large piece of paper with the bottom of your hand
about 2 to 2 1/2 inches from the bottom.
|
 |
Using the paint for the vase, finish
drawing the handle starting from the edge of your thumb and connecting
to the side of your palm. Let the paint dry completely.

 |
Using buttons, pony beads, decorative
stickers or even colored markers, make flowers at the end of each
finger. Glue the items in place.
|
 |
Cut out leaves with the green paper or use
leaf stickers. Place these around the stems of the flowers
|
 |
Decorate the vase with stickers and/or
markers.
|
 |
Lastly, using the brown paper, cut out a
table top and legs and glue under the vase.
|
You can hang this flower vase on the wall to brighten up your room.
This makes a great spring craft by bringing the beauty of
flowers inside.
