How to
Make Heart Shaped Animals - Puppy
| Step 1 |
The easiest way
to create your hearts is to
fold the craft foam sheets in half then cut along the folded edge. Cut
just half a heart shape.
|
| Step 2 |
Take a 8.5" by
5.5" sheet of foam and fold the
two short edges together. Cut out your heart making it a fatter heart.
This is the dog's body.
|
| Step 3 |
Take another
sheet of foam and cut out another fat heart but smaller than the first.
This is the puppy's head.
|
| Step 4 |
Using a
different color of foam, fold in half
with the two long ends together. Cut out a skinnier heart and cut the
heart in half. These are the two ears.
|
| Step 5 |
Using the same
color as the ears, cut out two smaller hearts for the dog's paws and
one for the tail.
|
| Step 6 |
Cut out a small
black heart for the dog's nose and a small heart using red for the
tongue.
|
| Step 7 |
Now that you
have all the heart shapes cut out
it is time to put your puppy together. Take the largest heart (the
body) and place it on the table with the point facing up.
|
| Step 8 |
Now take the
head and place it on top of the
body with the point facing up. Glue on two wiggle eyes, the heart
shaped nose and tongue. You can also cut out a heart shaped bow and add
some ribbon to dress up your Valentine puppy.
|
| Step 9 |
Take the two
heart halves (the ears) and glue these to the back of the head. Now
glue on the puppies paws and tail.
|
That's all there is to making this easy yet fun Valentine
puppy craft. We added some fun heart stickers to give this little puppy
some spots.
