Paint
the paper plate pink on one side and let dry. Then paint the

Now
cut the plate along the edge and continue cutting into a spiral until
you have reached the center of the plate. Leave enough of the
plate to punch a hole and hang the mobile.

Place several heart stickers on the
spiraled plate.
|
 |
Cut out several pink and red heart shapes
with the card stock. Hang the hearts from the mobile with
ribbon. Make the hearts hang at different lengths.
Tip: Hot glue works the best to really hold the hearts to the

How to Make a Standing Broken
Heart
 |
Cut
out two large hearts with the craft foam. You can use two
different colors or simply use one color.
Tip: The "broken" pieces of the heart show up better if you
use two different colors.
|
 |
Cut
a slit in one heart from the bottom to the middle of the heart.
Now cut a slit in the other heart starting from the top to
half way down the middle.
|
 |
Cut small triangles out of the hearts where
the slits are. Now slide the two hearts together through the
slits and separate out in order for the heart to stand up on it's own.
|
This kids craft idea can be just a regular standing heart.
Just skip the step of cutting small triangles to create a
"broken" look.
