How to Make a Cardboard Tube Photo Frame Select the photo you will use and choose cardboard tubes that will work best for the photo size.  You can use tubes from toilet paper rolls or paper towels. Cover your tube with colored paper using double stick tape or with paint.  Decorate it with markers, stickers or other items. Paint your plastic foam tray.  If you use an egg carton, cut off the top and use as your tray. Tip:  We used the sturdy plastic plate with an elegant look to fancy this craft up a bit.  We covered out tray with seashells but you can use stickers, markers or what ever you want. Using the craft knife, cut a slit down the side of each of the tubes stopping about 1/2" to 1" from the bottom. Slide your photo into the slits of the tubes.   Tip:  To help protect your photo, you can laminate it first or cover it with clear plastic wrap. Glue the tubes to the foam tray.

	Cut out different shapes using different colors of the craft foam.  You can do flower shapes, circles, squares, triangles or whatever shapes you want.
	Cut small pieces of straw (about 1/2" long).
	Measure a piece of string that will go over your mom's head and around her neck.  You can also make a matching bracelet. Tip:  If you are using thread, double it up to make it stronger.
	Thread the string on a needle.
	Now begin threading the foam pieces alternating with a small piece of straw.
	Tie off the string in a knot.

2 Liter Plastic Pop Bottle
Small Pebbles
Dried Flowers and Leaves
Cardboard
Ribbon
Hot Glue
Scissors

	Cut the bottom of the plastic pop bottle to the heigth you want your paper weight to be.
	Trace the opening on a piece of cardboard and cut out the circle making it slightly bigger than the opening. Tip:  You can paint one side of the cardboard if you want in case some of it shows.  Let the paint dry before moving on to the next step.
	Glue your rocks, pebbles, dried flowers and leaves to the painted side of the cardboard.
	Place the plastic bottle over the cardboard and glue in place. Tip:  Hot glue works best for this step.
	Finish it off with some ribbon around the bottom.

	Cut the cardboard roll about 1" to 2".  Cut as many as you need to create a set of napkin rings.
	Decorate the napkin ring with yarn, colored paper or ribbons.  Glue in place.
	Finish off your napkin rings with some extra goodies like bows, buttons or craft foam cutouts.
