Mothers
Day Ideas #1
Breakfast
In Bed
Everyone loves breakfast in bed once in awhile. It’s a way of
being treated like a queen for a day. So if your mom is like
most, then she too would love to be treated as royalty on Mother’s
Day. Moms are always the ones up the earliest to ensure
everyone gets a good breakfast before school or the day’s
activities. So this year, let her sleep in and be the queen
of the day and serve her breakfast in bed.

Mothers
Day Ideas #2
A Day To
Herself
Moms love their kids very much and enjoy all their time
together. They are always ready to help out with homework,
cleaning your room and the thousand of other things moms do every
day. But once in awhile every mom would just love a day to
herself. A day to do whatever she wanted without the worry of
the 100 and one things on her list.
So this Mother’s Day, give your mom a gift certificate entitling her to
one day of peace and quiet to do whatever Mothers Day activity she
chooses. Imagine the look on your mom’s face when you present
her with a coupon for a full day to do whatever she would like to do.
Just get some colorful paper, draw some pretty flowers and write “One
Day Free of Kids” (or whatever message you want to put to let her know
that it is a certificate for a day to herself). You can even
present this to her when you serve her breakfast in bed.
Make sure you give her this quiet time by planning something to keep
you busy with another grown up supervising you and ensuring mom is left
alone. Your mom will be so relaxed and will really enjoy her
special time alone.

Mothers
Day Ideas #3
Family Time
Even though moms love a break now and again, her favorite thing to do
on Mother’s Day may be to have some really good quality family
time. If you think your mom would prefer spending time with
the family instead of a quiet day alone, plan something fun for the
whole family.
Pick something you know your mom enjoys. Plan a day of fun
family activities. Pick things you may not normally do to make this
Mother's Day extra special.
Here are a few Mother's Day ideas for family fun activities.
 | Art Museums
Try going to
the local art museum and see lots of different paintings, sculptures,
etc. This cultural activity may not be your typical family
outing but it may inspire you and your mom with lots of artsy ideas for
your next crafting project. You can view the art during the
morning and stop somewhere for a family lunch together.
Picnics
If your mom is
the outdoor type, then a family picnic is a great Mother's Day idea.
Pack your moms favorite foods and head to the park.
You can each your picnic lunch then spend some fun family
time together walking around or playing in the play ground.
| Go to the
Movies
Movies are a
great fun family activity. Let mom pick her flick and then
find the right theater and time. You can even have dinner
before or after the movie to give your mom an extra special day. For a
more economical movie day, try renting some movies, pop some
popcorn and snuggle up on the couch for a day of movies at home.
The list of Mothers day ideas can go on and on. The
possibilities are endless with your imagination. So if these
Mothers Day ideas are not what your mom wants, think of other things
she would
enjoy. Ask Dad, her friends, family and neighbors to help
where necessary. She’ll enjoy her day no matter what you do for her,
but when you take the time to do something especially for her, you’ll
give her the one thing she wants more than anything – your love and
appreciation.
