How to
Make a Paper Plate Dinosaur
Paint
both paper plates green and let them dry.
One
one paper plate, paint brown spots on the dinosaur's body.
With the other paper plate, cut out the
rim. Cut this rim into two pieces (one for the head and neck
and the other for the tail).
Tip: For the section being used for the head and neck, round
off one end to form the head.
With the remaining section of the plate,
cut out two front legs and one back leg.
Tip: Use this template here.
Cut a small slit in the large paper plate
and the neck of the dinosaur. Using a paper fastener, connect the two
pieces.
Repeat step 5 for the legs and the tail.
Tip: You can also simply glue the pieces in place.
However, using paper fasteners allow you to move the pieces
to make your dinosaur look a bit different each day.
Glue a paper clip to the back of the body
for hanging on the wall.
Your dinosaur can be any color you want to make it more
unique. Just pick your favorite color and have some fun.
