Snowflake
These
look amazing hanging from any Christmas tree. You can even hang these
in the window to add that snowy look to your Christmas decorations.
Supplies
5 - 6 Pipe Cleaners
Scissors
String
How to
Make a Pipe Cleaner Snowflake Ornaments Craft
| Step 1 |
Take three pipe
cleaners and cut them in half.

| Step 2 |
Twist two halves
together at the middle. Repeat with the other 4 pipe cleaner halves to
form 6 points of the snowflake. |
| Step 3 |
Take the
remaining pipe cleaners and cut
several different lengths. These should be about 1/3 to 1/4 length of
the pipe cleaner. |
| Step 4 |
Now twist these
smaller pieces on the end of
each point of the snowflake. Put the larger pieces at the bottom and
the smallest pieces at the top. You can do anywhere from one to four
pieces to give your snowflakes a different look for each ornament.

Now just tie some string around the top of the snowflake to hang from
your tree.

Santa's Hat
These little Santa hats are so cute and really easy and inexpensive to
make.
Supplies
3 Red Pipe Cleaners
Scissors
2 Cotton Balls
Glue
How
to Make Pipe Cleaner Christmas Wreaths
| Step 1 |
Cut the red pipe
cleaners in half.

| Step 2 |
Bring one end of
all the half pipe cleaners together and twist. Leave the other end open.
|
| Step 3 |
At the end where
they chenille stems at
twisted, bend back about 1/4 inch from the top. This will make the hat
look as if it is bent over at the top. |
| Step 4 |
Glue on a cotton
ball at the end where the pipe
cleaners are twisted together. Now take the other cotton ball and
stretch it out over the bottom of the hat and glue in place.

To hang this from the tree, thread some string through the
pipe cleaners at the top of the hat. Although red is the traditional
color for Santa's hat, you can use what ever colors you want for your
Christmas tree decorations.

Stocking
This
X-mas tree ornament takes some bending and shaping but is fairly easy
and really inexpensive to make.
Supplies
1 Colored Pipe Cleaner
1/2 White Pipe Cleaner
Scissors
How
to Make Pipe Cleaner Christmas Stocking Ornament
| Step 1 |
Take
your colored pipe cleaner and simply shape into a stocking and twist
off the two ends and bend back.
Tip: Make the two ends meet at the top of the stocking as this is the
part that will be covered with the white pipe cleaner.

| Step 2 |
Now
take the white pipe cleaner and wrap it around the top of the stocking.

| Step 3 |
Thread some
ribbon or string through the
white pipe cleaner on the back. |
The instructions above creates an "open" stocking. If you
want to completely cover your stocking simply wrap another colored pipe
cleaner around the stocking part. This would take 1 to 2 more pipe
cleaners.
