How to Make Pipe Cleaner Christmas Wreaths

Step 1 Using three different colors of pipe cleaners, cut each in half to make two Christmas wreaths.  For bigger wreath ornaments, simply use the full length of pipe cleaner.

Step 2 Twist the three pipe cleaners until the end of the pipe cleaner.  You can also braid these rather than twisting. This will give it a slightly different look and mix of colors.

Tip: Try making some with small twists and some with bigger twists. Braid some of them as well to mix and match the X-mas wreaths on your tree.

Step 3 Now twist the ends together and bend back onto the wreath.  Taking a small piece of one color of pipe cleaner, twist it onto the bottom of the wreath in the middle and then shape each end into a bow.

Tip: You can just let the ends of the pipe cleaners hang down to look like ribbon. Instead of using another pipe cleaner for a bow, try gluing on a small Christmas bow.

Step 4 Optional:

You can add pine cones or bows all around your Christmas wreath by using different colored pipe cleaners and simply twist them onto the spot you want and then shape them.

For a fun variation to this pipe cleaner crafts, try adding different color and size beads to represent the items on the wreath.
