How to
Make Coffee Filter Pumpkin Crafts
|
|
| Step 1 |
Lay out
the wax paper in your work area. Make sure to wear your craft clothes
and not the good school clothes. |
| Step 2 |
Paint a
clothespin green and set aside to dry. |
| Step 3 |
Lay the
coffee filter flat on the wax paper. Put some water in a cup
for the water color and paint coffee filter orange. let the filter dry
completely. |
| Step 4 |
Once the
coffee filter and clothes pin is dry,
take the coffee filter and place some cruppled up tissue paper in the
middle. Then gather the filter together at the top to form a pumpkin. |
| Step 5 |
Place a
dab of glue on the inside of the clothespin and put this on the
gathered coffee filter. |
| Step 6 |
Create a
face for your pumpkin by drawing it on with a black marker or cutting
out pieces of black paper.
Tip:
The marker works okay but was a bit difficult as the coffee filter is
gathered and not smooth. |
|
To finish off this Halloween craft for kids, simply cut out a piece of
black
card stock and glue the pumpkins to this so that they will stand up.
These will stand on their own but you need to push down in order to
flatten the bottom which will lose a bit of the pumpkin shape.
