Do you know how big the tiger is?
The tiger is the largest cat species with male tigers
weighing more and longer than female tigers. Of all the different types
of tigers, the Siberian Tiger is the largest of them all and can weigh
over 500 pounds (225 kb) or more. The Sumatran is the lightest
subspecies weighing in at about 250 pounds (110 kg) for males and
around 200 pounds (90 kg) for females.

you know how many stripes a tiger has?
No two tigers have the same pattern of stripes. So each tiger is unique with their stripes. Most tigers have over 100 stripes.
Do you know how many subspecies of tigers there are?
There are six different subspecies of tigers that exist today. You
have the Bengal, Indochinese, Malayan, Sumatran, Siberian and
the South China tiger. There are also 3 extinct subspecies of
tigers that include the Balinese, Javan and Caspian specieas.
Do you know what tigers eat?
Tigers are carnivores and eat meat. They prefer hoofed animals like
deer, buffalo, pigs and cattle. They will eat monkey, birds, rabbits
and even fish. A tiger can eat up to 60 pounds of meat in just one
night. However, they can go without food for up to a week with no food.
Do you know what a group of tigers is called?
Tigers generally are solitary animals except when raising their
cubs. However, if a group of tigers are together this is called a
streak. Tigers will have their own territory for hunting and these
territories can overlap.
