Valentine
Activity / Game Idea #1
Guessing
Games
Before the party begins place several heart suckers into a plastic jar.
Be sure to count these as the kids will take a guess as to
how many there are. You can have a second jar with colored M
& M's or candied hearts. Make up several jars with
different candy and have a prize for each child whos guess is the
closest.
Another fun guessing game is to place several Valentine objects around
the room. Then one child gets to start and they pick one of the items
and describe it. They do not actually pick up the item but only have
the item in their mind. Then as they describe it the other
children have to guess which Valentine item they are talking about.

Valentine
Activities and Game Idea #2
Broken
Heart Games
This game can be done as a contest or just for fun. Create
several large hearts with craft foam. Place the pieces in a
bag for each child. To do this as a contest, have each child
put together their broken heart. The one to complete the
puzzle first wins.
Another version of this game would be to write each child's name on the
heart before you cut it into pieces. Then cut into several
pieces and mix them all together. Then divide the pieces
evenly amongst the kids. When they put the pieces together
they have to go around the room and find their matching pieces. This
version is a bit more difficult but can be really fun as you watch the
kids try to find all their broken heart pieces.
Another fun way to play with broken hearts is to cut each heart in
half. Then have each child pick one half of a heart.
They then have to find their other half. This is a fun way to
pair kids up for a game or contest.

Valentine
Activities / Game Idea #3 - Candy Fun!
Relay Race
Have some fun with the Valentine candy. You can do a relay
race with the candied hearts that have the cute little sayings.
Simply put two tables at the opposite sides of the room.
Place several candied hearts on one table. Put in
separate piles for each team.
Then have the kids race down to the table (one child at a time) and
pick out a piece of candy with a specified saying like "you're cute".
They have to look through the candies to find the right
saying. Once they find it they race back to the table and
it's the next child's. Give each child a new word or saying
to find. Be sure that the candies laid out on the table have each of
the sayings you are using for the game.
